1/5 ELECTRIC CAR KIT.
FS D&D released a kit to transform an IC engine RC car to an electric one. In many places in the world during winter, the RC big scale cars cannot be used outside because of the weather. If the cars want to be used they need to be used in a closed track where the use of IC engines are not recomnded.
There are also customers that just want to have their 1/5 scale car on a shelf because it looks awesome and would rarely use them, the electric kit works perfectly for this customers.
The electric car is cleaner than the IC engine car, and it is easy to use and no set-up needed.
But there are some points that the electric cars has against the IC engine car, they are traditionally slower, less acceleration, and last less time running than the IC engines.
FS D&D developed a kit that gives good acceleration to the car and using LIPO batteries last up to 25 to 35 minutes running with only one charge. However the most efficient motors are the brushless ones, they are more expensive and do not have the same start torque as the brushed motors. FS D&D uses a brushed motor in this kit.
We also provide the ESC units.
The car with the kit can be operated in 12v or 24v
